Strange Parallel is a documentary/short film revolving around the American singer/songwriter Elliott Smith. The film sometimes moves out of reality, with acted-out, metaphorical sequences that involve Elliott considering purchasing a mechanical hand (a "robot hand" ) to improve his music.
